Laetitia, the Underground Princess.

Princess Laetitia has lived all her life in a strange under ground world of caverns and tunnels. People live off what the vegetables in the carrot mines, and no one has seen the overworld or even knows of its existence. But all that changes one day when Laetitia turns 16 and her parents want her to marry a Prince. She has other plans and together with her pet, Mox, they escape to the overworld and find things even stranger than they could have imagined…

Mrs Button and the Extremely Long Washing-line.

Twins, Jack and Abby, are very poor and live with their mother in an old house on the hill. They’re always hungry but kind Mrs Button always gives them cake, especially if they help hang out the washing. Then one day, Jack and Abby climb to the top of a tree and see Mrs Button’s washing line is extremely long indeed.   So long, in fact, that it disappears over the horizon. What is at the end of Mrs Button’s washing line? Surely she’s not in league with the evil Mr Grimsby and his laundry?
